Rahul is a PhD candidate at the Nijmegen School of Management at Radboud University, The Netherlands. His research project, which is in the field of Innovation, revolves around exploring how to embed Responsible Digital Innovation (RDI) in firms.
The objective of this project is to fill the void in the current management and organization literature on Responsible Innovation by providing a holistic, rich, nuanced and contextually grounded understanding on what exactly RDI is.
Furthermore, having developed a robust framework of RDI, a further objective is to develop a measurement scale of the concept. Such a scale forms the foundation for firms to assess and compare their performance in RDI against industry peers, facilitating a comprehensive understanding of areas where enhancements could be implemented. This would allow firms to benchmark their responsibility performance. Moreover, such a scale would encourage policy makers to design rules and regulations to promote RDI.
From a research perspective, such a measurement scale would enable researchers to not only measure the concept, but also explore the antecedents and consequences of RDI. In the same vein, it will help researchers to identify under which conditions RI is most relevant and how this can be implemented within firms.
Rahul received a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from Radboud University. His research interests include consumer behavior, brand management and responsible innovation.
