M.Y. Sbaa (Maha Yomn) PhD

Maha is an interdisciplinary scholar with a background in work & organizational psychology and a PhD focused on economic migrants' perceptions of decent work in Italy, examined through multiple lenses. Her research spans labor rights, migration, marginalized communities, and critical approaches to cultural diversity and diversity management.

With lived and academic experiences across the SWANA region, Europe, and the USA, she brings a global, inclusive perspective to her work. She currently holds a postdoctoral position at the Business Administration department, studying decent work governance in global supply chains and its impact on vulnerable workers in the Global South.
