As an organic chemist, I focus on the synthesis of new molecules for targeted photodynamic therapy to enable highly local cancer therapy which has the potential to increase efficacy while reducing side effects. In addition, I am invested in the development of new synthetic techniques which can enable or improve the production of complex molecules for therapeutic use.
