Anouk Scheres' research focuses on motivation, reward sensitivity, and self-control in adolescents and adults with ADHD. She has used neuropsychological tasks and fMRI to learn more about the cognitive, motivational, and brain basis of ADHD. At the moment, her research focuses on behavior and interventions, such as evaluating the effects of an executive function intervention for adults with ADHD, and understanding the nature of procrastination and evaluating effects of a procrastination training for college students.
