I am a PhD candidate in the History of Philosophy at Radboud University, specializing in medieval and early modern metaphysics and occasionalism. My research examines the arguments developed by Muslim and Christian thinkers in defense of occasionalism, with a focus on causality, divine agency, and scientific explanations. I am particularly interested in cross-cultural philosophical exchange and the transmission of ideas between distinct intellectual traditions. More broadly, my work engages with the relationship between philosophy and theology, as well as the historical development of metaphysical concepts in medieval and early modern thought.
