Anna has completed her Ph.D. at the Masaryk University in the Czech Republic in the field of Molecular and Cell Biology and Genetics. She studied the variability of ancient mitochondrial genomes of people from the Bronze Age. During her studies, she completed an internship at the University of Otago in New Zealand, where she learned different approaches of library preparation and analysis of genomic data, respectively.
