Dr C. Shen (Chen)

With backgrounds in sociology, foreign/second language teaching and
acquisition, sociolinguistics, and forensic phonetics, my research interests
are quite broad. But in a nutshell, I like exploring how languages and speech
work. Currently I am investigating the potential relationship(s) between
cognitive abilities and speech motor control, and how them together or
separately could affect individual's speech clarification strategies and
capabilities.
