T. Sietsma (Thijmen)

I work as the coordinator of the Radboud Green Office to engage students and staff in making the campus more sustainable.

In addition, I am a PhD candidate, researching how and to what extent artistic interventions in decision-making processes can contribute to a just and more sustainable society. I am specifically interested in the potential of artistic interventions to introduce the more-than-human perspective, as well as seven-generation thinking. My research focuses on examining the characteristics of artistic interventions, how they leverage change, and the role artistic interventions play in transformative governance.
My approach is transdisciplinary participatory action research, in which I design interventions collaboratively with two theater makers, a scientist, and the responsible policymaker(s).
