Garjan is the coordinator of the interdisciplinary courses offered by Radboud Gender & Diversity Studies. She also organises seminars and the annual keynote for International Women's Day at the RU.
As an external PhD candidate, Garjan looks into issues pertaining to race and racism in Gender Studies in the Netherlands since the eighties.
