Dr E.M.E. van Straten (Esther)

Esther van Straten is the Managing Director of Radboud AI and the program manager of Radboud Healthy Data. Radboud AI is a campus-wide initiative that connects all AI researchers at Radboud University and Radboudumc. Radboud Healthy Data creates an infrastructure that enables the (re)use of research data and facilitates AI research.

After her MSc and PhD in the medical field, she worked as a project manager and subsequently grant consultant in the life sciences field. In these roles, she gained a lot of experience in setting up multidisciplinary collaborations. She uses this knowledge and expertise in her current role for Radboud AI.
