Dr E.M.E. van Straten (Esther)

Esther van Straten is the Managing Director of Radboud AI. Radboud AI is a campus-wide initiative that connects all AI researchers at Radboud University and Radboudumc. Esther focuses on the internal organization of Radboud AI as well as setting up and maintaining contact with AI networks in The Netherlands and abroad, and on collaborating with large enterprises.

After her MSc and PhD in the medical field, she worked as a project manager and subsequently grant consultant in the life sciences field. In these roles, she gained a lot of experience in setting up multidisciplinary collaborations. She uses this knowledge and expertise in her current role for Radboud AI.
