Prof. P.J.M. van Tongeren (Paul)

Professor Paul van Tongeren is the academic director of the Centre for Ethics and, in this capacity, studies the following fields: the history and applications of moral ethics; hermeneutics as a method of practical philosophy; the relation between education and the formation of morals. Paul van Tongeren also manages the Nietzsche Research Group, which is working on a dictionary which is to be used when reading the works of Nietzsche, and investigates the significance of Nietzsche's practical philosophy.
