I earned both a Bachelor's Degree in Historical, Philological and Literary Studies (Humanities) and a Master's Degree in Historical Sciences at the University of Trento. I focused on institutional problems connected with the expansion of the Roman State, particularly the grantig of citizenship and the administrative organization of countryside.
My project is aimed at uncovering and analyzing changes in the institutional language of communities in the Republican Western provinces - Africa Proconsularis, Gallia Cisalpina, Gallia Narbonensis and Hispania. By taking into account public texts (inscriptions) produced by different actors on a local level, I seek to identify patterns of continuity and innovation in legal language and concepts.
