Holds a signalling and advisory role on the main EU framework programmes, such as Horizon Europe and Erasmus+, as well as on research and innovation policy, ensuring that current opportunities and developments are effectively shared across the organisation.

Coordinates the university’s participation in and representation within The Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities, a network that jointly advocates in Brussels on behalf of 23 research-intensive institutions.

Also works on international collaborations, including the Africa–Europe Clusters of Research Excellence (CoREs), aimed at strengthening academic cooperation and knowledge exchange.
