Prof. J.M. van der Vleuten (Anna)

Anna van der Vleuten is affiliated with the Department of Political Science as Professor Contesting Europeanization. She was trained as political scientist at the Università degli Studi in Bologna, Italy and at Radboud University, where she received her PhD-degree in 2001. Her teaching activities focus on European and international politics, gender and diversity. Her research focuses on the EU as 'normative power' and processes of norm contestation regarding gender equality, gender identity and sexual orientation.
