He earned his first PhD in Communication Studies from Shih Hsin University, focusing on the continuous use of social media among Taiwan's Generation Z based on the Commitment Framework. He is currently pursuing his second PhD at Radboud University, where his project explores the influence of sentiments in social media messages about companies on financial indicators. By utilizing machine learning, big data, time series analysis, and text mining, his research aims to systematically investigate the interaction between social media and stock markets, ultimately expanding the theoretical approaches of information diffusion. He hopes to develop a new theoretical approach to information diffusion theory in order to better understand stock market volatility and prevent market crashes caused by information diffusion.
Prior to his doctoral studies, he studied the Art of Announcing and Anchoring at the China Central Academy of Drama from 2014 to 2018, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree, primarily focusing on the impact of public speaking on audiences. Following this, he studied Speech Communication at Shih Hsin University from 2018 to 2020, earning a Master of Arts degree. During his master's studies, his primary research examined the relationship between information on Twitter and the U.S. stock market.
