K.J. Weingarten (Karla)

I am a PhD Candidate in philosophy of physics under the supervision of Kian Salimkhani, Henk de Regt and Klaas Landsman. I work on applying philosophy of science themes, including modeling and scientific understanding, to better grasp effective field theories. I am also a member of the Radboud Center for Natural Philosophy. Before coming to Nijmegen in 2024, I studied Physics (B.Sc.) and Logic and Philosophy of Science (M.A.).
