PhD Researcher at the Department of Geography, Planning & Environment at Radboud University. Researching agri-environmental system change by focusing on how, why and under what conditions agri-environmental programmes and interventions aimed at biodiversity restoration are successful, and how these could be scaled. Expertise in realist methodology, agri-environmental programmes, payments for ecosystem services, social-ecological system change, landscape governance, biodiversity restoration strategies.

Currently involved in the interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary NWA-financed Living Lab Ooijpolder-Groesbeek, which is related to the Deltaplan for Biodiversity restoration.
