I graduated from my bachelor's in Psychology in 2022 and my (research) master's in Brain and Cognitive Sciences in 2024, both from the University of Amsterdam.

Jointly specialized in work psychology and cognitive neuroscience, I hold a particular interest in applied (social) neuroscience, with an emphasis on EEG research and human performance in challenging environments. I am interested in how we may use neurophysiology to improve the performance, training, and/or selection of employees, especially in extreme and dangerous environments, such as police or military (team) work.

Currently, I am pursuing my PhD in Distributed Situational Awareness, which is a joint project between Radboud University and TNO. A majority of my daily work is carried out at TNO (Soesterberg), yet I am also at certain periods actively and often at Radboud University for coursework, talks, and/or data collection.

In my free time, I enjoy creative hobbies (scrapbooking, water-colour painting, singing) as well as very slowly reading my way through 2-4 books at a time as I find it hard to pick one.
