Gerrit Willem Ziggers (1963) is Assistant Professor of Strategic Management at the department of Business Administration at Radboud University. He received his training at Wageningen University, received his PhD-degree from the same university in 1993, and he worked there until 1998 as an Assistant Professor. From 1998 to 2000 he worked as a program manager at RIKILT Wageningen and as a business consultant at Berenschot. He returned to academia as an Assistant Professor at Radboud University in 2000. During 2012 to 2013 he was substitute Professor of Business Management at the Institute for Food and Resource Economics, University of Bonn. His teaching and research activities focus on the strategic behavior and performance of firms. He does so primarily by focusing on business relations and networks as the interface between the firm and its external environment.
