Perception, Action and Decision-making

You will study the basic sensorimotor aspects of perception-action coupling as well as the cognitive contextual and social components. This track is aimed at the three basic components of current Cognitive Neuroscience: modelling, designing and conducting behavioural studies and measuring the neurobiological foundations of behaviour. You’ll gain ample experience in current research and analysis techniques in perception, three-dimensional motor research, psychophysiological studies, neuroimaging and electromyographical studies. You’ll also be able to apply formal theories on and models of perceptive functions, sensorimotor functions, and complex actions in your research. This track also works closely with the Radboudumc and the Sint Maartenskliniek, a hospital that specialises in posture and movement, housed in Nijmegen.
