    Programme

The CHARGE program is structured over three full days, each focused on a key area essential to data science in the energy sector:

    • Day 1: Time Series Analysis

Participants will explore the fundamentals of Time Series Analysis, learning how to forecast trends and optimize energy operations. This day will focus on predicting energy demand, managing renewable resources, and enhancing grid performance.

    • Day 2: Network Science

Dive deep into the analysis of complex networks, including energy grids and communication systems. Learn how to model and interpret network behaviors, assess vulnerabilities, and apply optimization techniques for more efficient energy systems.

    • Day 3: Ethics and Sustainability in Data Science

This final day covers the ethical dimensions of data science and AI in the energy sector. Discussions will focus on data privacy, algorithmic bias, and the societal impact of AI. The sustainability aspect will address the energy consumption of AI systems and explore ways to mitigate their environmental impact.

Each day includes expert-led lectures in the morning, followed by practical case studies in the afternoon, allowing participants to apply the concepts they’ve learned.

    Lecturers

The CHARGE program is led by a team of distinguished lecturers from Radboud University:
