What are you going to learn?
Would you like to learn to treat disorders using the latest treatment methods and be able to conduct psychological tests according to the latest scientific insights? In the Health Care Psychology programme, you will start doing just that. You can enter the programme either from the master's in Health Care Psychology or from practice. In this programme, you will learn how to help clients with a mental illness, disorder or other mental problems. You will then involve the client in the treatment of the problem or disorder. Participants working in the Adults & Seniors (VO) setting and participants working in the Children & Youth (KJ) setting jointly attend a large part of the classes. This part of the training covers, among other things, the connection between attachment, learning and development in childhood and problems and disabilities later in life. The life course perspective is central to this. In the elective modules, you will study two themes of your own choice in greater depth. During the programme, you will receive 360-degree feedback from practice supervisors, lecturers, peer groups and colleagues. In the Radboud University GZ programme, we make explicit use of the connection with science and you will be given the latest methods to master these skills.
Upon completion of this course:
- With your degree, you can register in the BIG register. This means you can use the legally protected professional title of healthcare psychologist
