Inspirational webinar: Organising AI responsibly without losing sight of the human touch

In this free webinar organised by Radboud University on 19 November, Prof. Dr Vera Blažević and Prof. Dr Johan Kwisthout will discuss the conscious decisions that leaders must make to ensure that AI is implemented in a responsible, people-centred and effective manner.

    General

For many organisations, AI is no longer a distant prospect, but part of everyday practice. This calls for leaders who look beyond technical possibilities alone. After all, the question is not whether AI will be used, but how it can be used responsibly. This webinar helps decision-makers to organise AI in a responsible, people-centred and effective way.

From using AI to organising AI effectively

Teams use AI for analysis, advice, knowledge-sharing, brainstorming, process improvement and decision-making. This presents opportunities: greater speed, new forms of collaboration and scope for innovation. At the same time, leaders are being asked to look further ahead. Drawing on an academic framework, this webinar offers practical guidance for making meaningful, future-proof choices – conscious choices that take into account both opportunities and unintended or hidden negative consequences. For it is precisely in organisations where knowledge, expertise, human judgement and the quality of advice are central that AI also raises new questions. Who is responsible when AI supports a recommendation? How do you prevent staff from becoming primarily technology supervisors? How do you safeguard issues such as privacy and hallucination? How do you deploy AI in a way that adds value to your organisation?

In this free inspirational webinar, Vera Blažević (Professor of Digital Marketing) and Johan Kwisthout (Director of the Artificial Intelligence Programme) will therefore explore the leadership questions behind AI. As a leader, what choices must you make to ensure AI is used responsibly, without losing sight of the human element?
