What will you learn?
The iamGE&C gives you the knowledge and abilities to initiate academic research and insights in the field of giftedness, in order to contribute to the improvement of the quality of education, support and care for all children, adolescents and adults, including those with (gifted) abilities. In addition, you will develop the competencies to contribute to and influence the academic discourse on this topic and have prepared a manuscript for publication in a scientific journal based on their thesis.
Upon completion of this programme you:
- Will know how to function as a scientist-practitioner;
- Can contribute to scientific knowledge about children, adolescents and adults with (characteristics of) giftedness;
- Conducted practice-oriented empirical research;
- Know how to communicate with parties involved in the education and care of people with (characteristics of) giftedness;
- Can take a position in and influence the public, professional and academic discussion about the education of the gifted;
- Can continue to develop yourself as a professional: act and reflect on the basis of current scientific knowledge (continuous learning process);
- Receive a master’s degree (MSc) in Gifted Education and Care.
