In addition, she chairs the European Council for High Ability  (ECHA). Hoogeveen conducts scientific research in the field of educational adjustments for students with (very) high (intellectual) abilities. As a researcher, she is affiliated with the Behavioural Science Institute (BSI) of Radboud University and collaborates in research and education with colleagues from various domestic and foreign universities. As a gz-psychologist, she counsels and treats children, adolescents and adults at CBO Talent Development

    prof. dr. A.J.M. Hoogeveen (Lianne)

People should not be labelled as “gifted”. The question should always be: what does this particular child, adolescent or adult need and how can we best provide it? For example, what are the needs of a child who has above-average complex thinking? We need professionals who are able to recognize the talent who are under-challenged and then know how best to deal with that.
