Sustainability incompany
Does your organisation have ambitions for sustainability, international cooperation and positive social change? Radboud University has been offering keynotes, workshops and programmes for organisations to help play their part for over 25 years.
Education for the challenges of today and tomorrow
We believe that connecting science and practice is the key to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our teaching is based on the idea that sustainable development requires collective action within an international and broad range of sectors and actors. We aim to enable ambitious professionals, together with organisations including NGOs, governments, companies, consultancies, knowledge institutes and private and corporate foundations around the world, to formulate innovative responses and breakthrough solutions. In response to the challenges of today and tomorrow. Let's connect and cooperate!
Workshop (2-4 days)
Our workshop offers insights into the essential knowledge to improve the daily practice of international cooperation and gives professionals and executives the right tools to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals.
Programme (1 year)
AMID Young Professional pairs organisations with ambitious starting professionals. In this unique traineeship young professionals acquire the latest knowledge and skills in sustainable development and international cooperation, which are needed to achieve organisational goals and contribute to sustainability and positive social change. Also suitable for internal candidates and team members.
Cooperating with (international) partners
Over time, we have built a relevant network of international policymakers, NGOs and for-profit organisations. For example Johnson & Johnson, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Wilde Ganzen. We seek collaboration with foreign universities. For instance, since 2021 we partner with the University of Nairobi for the AMID Young Professional traineeship.
What does this unique collaboration offers you?
- A great networking opportunity through the interaction with trainees from various countries and diverse organisations.
- A look beyond the confines of your own field and provide multidisciplinary training.
- Participants develop a wide range of professional and academic skills.
- Our teachers are prominent academics, specialists and professionals in and outside Kenya and The Netherlands.
- Our international perspective on global challenges has enriched our education.
- We work with evidence-based research, evaluation methods and descriptive research.
- We have a shared mission to contribute to a healthy, fair world with equal opportunities for all.
