Course offerings for students
Radboud University invests in the language skills of its students. That’s why, as a student, you can take many courses at a discount or even for free, from improving your writing skills to learning a new language.
The following options are free of charge to students:
Dutch courses
Would you like to learn to speak Dutch? A Social Dutch course is a great opportunity to familiarise yourself with the Dutch language in a fun way. As a Radboud University student, you can take two Social Dutch courses or one regular Dutch (NT2) course for free.
Academic Writing course
This course supports you during the writing process of your thesis or paper. It teaches you how to write an academic text that is well-structured, easy to read and correct when it comes to style, wording and punctuation.
E-learning The Write Space
Would you like to improve your academic writing skills at your own pace? Start with The Write Space, our free e-learning environment.
Writing coaching
Working on an academic text during your study at the RU? At Radboud Writing Lab you can register for a coaching session with a writing coach or join one of the writing workshops.

Would you like to communicate more fluently and with greater confidence in English? Or do you need to get a Cambridge or IELTS certificate? We always have a course to suit your needs, ranging from short skills workshops to targeted exam preparation and courses designed to improve your overall language skills.

Studying or doing an internship abroad?
Going abroad is good for your personal development and career prospects. You will be able to make the most of your trip if you speak the local language.
