This course will provide you with all the knowledge and skills necessary to teach your subject in English.
In this course you will
- learn about the didactics of teaching in a second language, i.e. Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) skills;
- become familiar with appropriate classroom English which will allow you to manage your daily lessons;
- acquire the vocabulary needed to teach your subject(s) i.e. subject-specific jargon;
- improve your general English language skills (incl. grammar and pronunciation);
- receive feedback on your teaching by giving mini and/or trial lessons;
- receive guidance from our expert trainers on how to develop your own bilingual programme/lessons
Approach
The course consists of 12 lessons of 2 hours each.
Certification
You will receive a Radboud in’to Languages certificate of attendance provided you have attended at least 80% of the sessions.

You will also be given access to the course via Radboud’s online learning environment, Brightspace.
Location
Depending on your wishes, the course can take place at your school, at another location close to you or at Radboud in’to Languages.
