Classroom English Observation Service

Have you been working in bilingual education but it is some time since you last had training or professional development in English as Medium of Instruction (EMI)? Would you like some further guidance and personal feedback on your English use in the classroom? Radboud in’to Languages’ Classroom English Observation Service will identify your strengths and key areas that need attention.

What does the observation service offer/involve?

You will record a 50-minute lesson or part of a 50-minute lesson and send it to our experienced trainers.

Based on this recording you will receive a full lesson report with feedback on aspects such as

  • Pronunciation
  • Grammar
  • Vocabulary issues
  • Use of natural English
  • Use and range of appropriate classroom English

Your trainer will provide tips and advice related to your individual needs. 

This service is suitable for teachers at all levels of experience. We also offer a Lecturing Observation Service that is specifically aimed at lecturers in higher education.
