Postponing a conversation because you expect it to be uncomfortable: we all do it sometimes. We find awkward or tense conversations scary. But when you avoid them, tensions can start to build under the surface. This quickly leads to irritation, frustration, mounting emotions or, conversely, withdrawal.

Engaging in the conversation in a timely and effective manner creates space for openness, trust, and cooperation. That way, you can avoid friction, misunderstandings, and escalation.

This tailor-made course will teach you how to conduct constructive conversations, even when the situation feels tense or difficult.

    During this course, you will be given the tools you need to consciously start the conversation, so you contribute to a pleasant working atmosphere with room for openness, feedback, and differences of opinion. You practise with cases from your own practice. Everything you learn in the course can be applied directly – at work, but also in your personal life.

    Tailor-made course or coaching programme: how does it work?

    During an intake interview, we will determine what is desirable and feasible and we will discuss the approach and design of our offer, from a coaching programme to a short workshop or multi-day course. The course can take place in a small group with your team or department, but also one-on-one. Courses take place at our premises or in-company. In some cases, some or all of the course can also take place online. After the intake interview, you will receive an offer with a tailor-made programme.

    The costs depend on the design and duration of the course or coaching programme. You will always receive a tailor-made quotation. An internal rate applies to Radboud University and Radboud university medical center employees.
