In this C2 course, you will work together with other course participants, under the guidance of a skilled language teacher, to develop greater confidence, sophistication and precision in your English. You will receive personal feedback from your teacher at multiple moments during the course.

The course consists of six lessons, complemented by two skills workshops of your choice:

The six fixed lessons in this course will take place from 14 September to 26 October 2026. The skills workshops are scheduled for the following two weeks, and it is up to you to choose which two you wish to attend. There will be no class during the week of 19 October due to the autumn holiday.

  • Class day and times: Mondays from 6 pm - 8 pm
  • Location: on campus in Nijmegen
  • Number of participants: min. 8 - max. 18

If a lesson is cancelled, it will be rescheduled in the week following the last lesson.

Approach and content

During classes, you will be fully immersed in English. At C2 level, we explore the finer intricacies of the language. You will expand your vocabulary to enhance your lexical flexibility and range. More advanced aspects of grammar and pronunciation will also be addressed to improve accuracy. Sessions will include a high proportion of speaking activities, enabling you to apply new knowledge in practice and build fluency.

The course is supported by a coursebook and self-study materials designed to consolidate and extend your learning.

Individual study

 You can continue to develop your skills outside classes with our comprehensive teaching materials. You should count on about two to four hours of individual study per week.

The course material can be purchased at Roelants bookstore. Course material is not included in the course fee.

  • RU students : € 240,- (60% discount)
  • RU staff Radboudumc: free of charge (provided that they meet the necessary conditions for Language Policy Courses)

Determine your level with a free test

To determine your level, you will first have to take an online placement test (Oxford Online Placement Test, OOPT). An OOPT score of 100 or higher or a Cambridge Preliminary certificate (score c or higher) is required to enroll in the English Native Speaker Level Course (C2) – Cambridge Proficiency.

If you have successfully completed a course with us you will receive a certificate of Radboud in'to Languages stating your level.

If you want to get an idea of your level on your own, you can do this using our online level test.
