Language course Dutch Sign Language for absolute beginners (halfway to A1)

Do you work with people who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, or do you know anyone who is deaf or hard-of-hearing in your social circle who you would like to learn to communicate better with? Basic Dutch Sign Language Skills can enhance your ability to communicate with people who are deaf and hard-of-hearing. This basic course covers basic vocabulary and grammar, but above all expressive visual communication in a broader sense.

    General

Dutch Sign Language for Beginners focuses on visual communication. Expressive facial expressions and clearly using the space around you enable you to make yourself understood without speech in a range of situations. A solid start is made with learning the lexicon and grammar of Dutch Sign Language; the language of the deaf community in the Netherlands. The course also includes an initial introduction to deaf culture.
