This course is intended for financial service professionals whose work involves dealing with international colleagues, clients, and partners. This includes account managers, compliance officers, financial advisors, team leaders, and staff members. The course is suitable both for employees with a basic level and for advanced language users who want to further improve their communication skills. You will practise using professional terminology in the context of your own cases and documents. From conversations about financial decision-making, investment risks, and financial planning to informal communication and small talk with international colleagues.
- Interactive modes of instruction: Think of role-play in which we simulate realistic work situations and writing assignments that you can use straight away in your day-to-day work.
- Cultural awareness: Learn how cultural differences affect communication and how to deal with these differences successfully in the financial service sector, for example in investment decisions, risk management, and corporate finance.
- Targeted feedback: You will receive intensive guidance and feedback from an experienced language trainer who understands the financial sector.
