Language course French for advanced students (B2)

If you already have a good grasp of French and you want to take your language skills to the next level, and you can easily have a conversation in French and formulate an opinion on a wide range of topics, this course will help you to achieve B2 level.

    General

    Entry level

    This course is the second part of B2-level French. In order to take part in this course, it is important that you possess the knowledge and skills from the previous language levels. This means that you should easily be able to have a French conversation and that you have an extensive passive knowledge (reading and listening skills). For example, you should be able to formulate an opinion properly and structure a written or oral story. You should be familiar with the impératif (imperative), participe présent (present participle) and adjectif verbal (verbal adjective).

    If you completed the preceding French halfway to B2 course at In’to, you will automatically be able to progress to this course. If you did not complete this particular course, we will invite you to take part in a telephone intake so that we can determine whether this course is appropriate for your language level.

    After completing this French language course, you will be able to:

    • converse fluently and spontaneously on a wide range of topics;
    • formulate your opinion in detail;
    • understand the main ideas of complex texts, including on abstract topics;
    • write clear and detailed texts on a wide range of topics.

    The course focuses primarily on verbal communication, as well as reading, listening and writing skills. You will also learn more about French culture. To receive a Radboud in’to Languages certificate, you need to attend 80% of the classes.

    After this course, you will have achieved language level B2.
