Language course German for advanced students (B2)

If you already have a good grasp of German and you want to take your language skills to the next level, and you can easily have a conversation in German and formulate an opinion on a wide range of topics, this course will help you to achieve B2 level.

    General

    Entry level

    This course is the second part of B2-level German. In order to take part in this course, it is important that you possess the knowledge and skills from the previous language levels. This means that you should easily be able to have a German conversation and that you have an extensive passive knowledge (reading and listening skills). For example, you should be able to formulate an opinion properly and structure a written or oral story. You should be familiar with grammatical case theory.

    If you completed the preceding German halfway to B2 course at In’to, you will automatically be able to progress to this course. If you did not complete this particular course, we will invite you to take part in a telephone intake so that we can determine which course is appropriate for your language level. Please note that the B2 course can only be taken after completion of the previous level.

    After completing this German language course, you will be able to:

    • converse fluently and spontaneously on a wide range of topics;
    • formulate your opinion in detail;
    • understand the main ideas of complex texts, including on abstract topics;
    • write clear and detailed texts on a wide range of topics.

    The emphasis is on oral communication. But reading, listening and writing skills are also covered. You will also learn more about German culture. You will receive a certificate from Radboud in'to Languages at 80% attendance.

    After this course you will have reached language level B2.
