Language course Japanese for beginners (A2)

Do you already have a reasonable basis in Japanese? Can you have a short conversation, are you familiar with the Hiragana and Katakana syllabaries and do you know a bit of Kanji? With the Japanese A2 course, you can further develop your knowledge to achieve A2 level.

    General

    Entry level

    This course is the second part of Japanese A2. To qualify for this course, we expect you to already have certain knowledge and skills.  You should be familiar with the syllabaries, Hiragana and Katakana, and have started learning the third, Kanji. You're also able to have simple conversations in Japanese. You should for instance be able to express your opinion, describe cause and effect, and understand and write simple texts.

    If you completed Japanese halfway to A2 at In'to, you automatically have the right level to progress to this course.

    After completing this Japanese language course, you will be able to:

    • have simple, short conversations on personal topics;
    • broadly follow everyday conversations on familiar topics;
    • broadly understand short, simple texts (brochures, advertisements);
    • write short, simple messages or e-mails.

    The course focuses primarily on verbal communication, as well as reading, listening and writing skills. You will also learn more about Japanese culture. To receive a Radboud in’to Languages certificate, you need to attend 80% of the classes.

    After completing this course, you will have reached language level A2
