Language course Russian for beginners (halfway to A2)

The Russian halfway to A2 course will be suitable for anyone who can already understand simple words, sentences and short texts in Russian. For example, you should be able to talk a bit about yourself and be familiar with present tense verb conjugations. This course will continue to build on what you learned at the A1 level and will take you halfway to A2 level.

    General

    Entry level

    In order to qualify for this course, we expect you to have knowledge and skills of the Russian language at the A1 level. This means, for example, that you should be able to talk about yourself and about your profession or your studies. You should also be familiar with grammatical concepts like the grammatical cases of singular nouns.

    If you completed the preceding Russian for beginners A1 course at In’to, you will automatically be able to progress to this course.

    After completing this Russian language course, you will be able to:

    • have simple, short conversations on personal topics;
    • follow broadly everyday conversations on familiar topics;
    • understand broadly short, simple texts (brochures, advertisements);
    • write short, simple messages or emails.

    The course focuses primarily on verbal communication, as well as reading, listening and writing skills. You will also learn more about Russian culture.

    To receive a Radboud in’to Languages certificate, you need to attend 80% of the classes.

    This course will help you on your way to language level A2. After completing this course, you can continue with Russian A2 to complete the A2 level.
