Language course Russian for intermediate students (halfway to B1)

This Russian halfway to B1 course will be suitable for you if you can already speak Russian reasonably well and you wish to further develop your language skills. For example, you should easily be able to have simple conversations and read and write short texts. This course will continue to build on what you learned at the A2 level and will take you halfway to B1 level.

    General

    Entry level

    In order to qualify for this course, we expect you to have knowledge and skills of the Russian language at the A2 level. This means that you should already be able to have simple conversations in Russian about familiar topics and specific issues. For example, you should be able to speak in detail about your family, have a simple phone conversation or invite someone to something. You should be familiar with the subjunctive and the use of adverbs.

    If you completed the preceding Russian A2 course at In’to, you will automatically be able to progress to this course. If you did not complete this particular course, we will invite you to take part in a telephone intake so that we can determine whether this course is appropriate for your language level.

    After completing this Russian language course, you will be able to:

    • have simple conversations on familiar topics;
    • understand the main points of simple texts;
    • formulate personal opinions in a simple way;
    • write texts and emails on familiar topics.

    The course focuses primarily on verbal communication, as well as reading, listening and writing skills. You will also learn more about Russian culture.

    To receive a Radboud in’to Languages certificate, you need to attend 80% of the classes.

    This course will help you on your way to language level B1.
