Entry level
This course is the second part of Russian at C1 level. To qualify for this course, it is important that you possess the knowledge and skills of previous language levels. You should for instance be able to have a discussion in Russian, use the language spontaneously and flexibly (even on complex topics), and expound extensively on points of view in a text. You should also be familiar with slang and jargon.
If you completed Russian halfway to C1 at In'to, you automatically have the right level to progress to this course. If not, we will invite you for a telephone intake to determine whether this course matches your level.
After this Russian language course you will be able to:
- Understand long speeches, TV programmes and films without too much effort.
- Understand long, complex factual and literary texts, and appreciate the use of different styles.
- Understand specialised articles and lengthy technical instructions.
- Provide clear, detailed descriptions on complex topics. Express yourself fluently and spontaneously, using the language flexibly and effectively for both social and professional purposes.
The emphasis is on oral communication. You will also learn more about Russian culture. You will receive a certificate from Radboud in’to Languages if you attend 80% of the classes.
After completing this course, you will have achieved language level C1.
