Language course Swedish for beginners (A2 part 1)

This Swedish A2 Part 1 course is suitable for those who can already understand simple words, sentences and short texts in Swedish. You can already have short conversations on various everyday topics and give your opinion on something. This course builds on what you learned in language level A1.

    General

    Entry level

    In order to qualify for this course, we expect you to have knowledge and skills of the Swedish language at the A1 level. This means, for example, that you should be able to describe a place, and talk about your daily life and about what you have done in the past. You should also be familiar with plural forms, auxiliary verbs and the simple past.

    If you completed the preceding Swedish for beginners A1 part 3 course at In’to, you will automatically be able to progress to this course. If you are unsure whether this course suits your level, you can make an appointment for an intake by phone. You can also enrol in a Swedish language course without an intake.

    After completing this Swedish language course, you will be able to:

    • have simple, short conversations on personal topics;
    • follow broadly everyday conversations on familiar topics;
    • understand broadly short, simple texts (brochures, advertisements);
    • write short, simple messages or emails.

    The course focuses primarily on verbal communication, as well as reading, listening and writing skills. You will also learn more about Swedish culture.

    To receive a Radboud in’to Languages certificate, you need to attend 80% of the classes.

    This course will help you on your way to language level A2. After completing this course, you can continue with Swedish A2 part 2 to complete the A2 level.
