Language course Ukrainian for intermediate students (B1)

Do you want to further develop your Ukrainian language skills? In this online Ukrainian B1 course, you will build on what you learned in the course Ukrainian halfway to B1.

    General

     After completing this Ukrainian language course, you will be able to:

    • have simple conversations on familiar topics;
    • understand the main points of simple texts;
    • formulate personal opinions in a simple way;
    • write texts and emails on familiar topics.

    The course focuses primarily on verbal communication, as well as reading, listening and writing skills. You will also learn more about Ukrainian culture. To receive a Radboud in’to Languages certificate, you need to attend 80% of the classes.

    After completing this course, you will have reached language level B1.

    This course will take place from 19 January until 16 March 2026. Ther is no class in the week of 16 February because of the Spring break.

    Class day & time: Mondays from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
    Location: Online via Virtual Classroom and always with tutor guidance

    Approach and content

    Ukrainian is spoken as much as possible during classes, with English as the supporting language. This means you can take this course if you do not speak Dutch. You should count on about three to four hours of individual study per week.
