Writing inclusive job vacancies – tailor-made workshop

Do you want an inclusive and diverse workforce? Then it is vital to use inclusive language in your job vacancies. Inclusive language is understandable for everyone and it addresses everyone. It does not exclude or forget anyone. This workshop will make you aware of the challenges involved and teach you how to reach as many different people as possible and get them to apply.

The workshop is practical and interactive: you will have to think through a range of sample texts and will get to work with your own vacancies.

    What will be covered?

    • Why recruit inclusively?
    • Where can things go wrong in communication?
    • Stereotyping and word choice
    • Addressing diverse groups of candidates
    • Gender-inclusive writing
    • Using images
    • Understandable language

    Target group

For anyone who writes, checks and/or distributes job vacancies: recruiters, HR advisors, communication officers, managers and other interested parties.

    Tailor-made course

You can follow this one-and-a-half-hour workshop at our location, in-company or remotely via the virtual classroom. A combination is also possible. You can take this workshop on your own or as a team.

Together we can determine what is desirable and feasible and we can discuss the approach and design of the course. Would you rather follow the course in Dutch? That’s also possible. The costs for an in-company or private training course depend on your specific wishes. You will always receive a customised quote. For Radboud University and Radboudumc staff an internal rate applies.
