Organisations spend a lot of time and attention on measures to increase their capacity for innovation. This often ignores fostering creativity within the organisation, while every innovation is the result of a creative process. Increasing the creative capacity of employees also strengthens an organisation's innovative power.

Innovation through Creative Thinking
Innovation and creativity are crucial to making progress, competing successfully and developing sustainable policies. Especially nowadays, when the speed at which organisations are faced with change is increasing. Does your organisation also have innovation and creativity challenges? Then this programme is perfect for you.
General
However, the right preconditions are often lacking for creativity to flourish effectively. On the one hand, this is due to a limited understanding of the psychological processes underlying creativity. On the other hand, there is too little insight into the factors that can cause creativity to be promoted or impeded within an organisation.
In the Innovation through Creative Thinking course, scientific knowledge is brought together in an accessible overview, and various myths about creativity and innovation are unravelled. In various assignments, you will work on the material yourself to gain a better understanding of your own organisation's innovativeness and creativity.
Something for you?
The course provides answers to questions such as:
- What is creativity (and what is it not), and what is the difference between creativity and innovation?
- What factors promote or hinder creativity?
- What psychological and business processes underlie creativity and innovation?
- What tools can you use to generate creative and innovative ideas?
