Module 1: Social-organisational perspective and strategic context
Introduction to the socio-organisational perspective on business administration. And what are the business and organisational implications of the transition to a networked and participatory municipality.
Module 2: Municipalities in networks
This module focuses on the question of how to position your municipality in public-private partnerships both administratively and officially. It looks at different partnerships, which roles you have in them and how you shape the governance of those partnerships.
Module 3: Organisation design
You learn the concepts behind popular organisational forms such as self-managing or self-organising teams. Which form(s) suit your organisation that offer specific solutions at the same time?
Day 1 focuses on how to arrive at a simple organisational design that works in practice. We look at what concepts and design principles can be used to assess and design organisational structures of municipalities.
Day 2 looks at how to arrive at this organisational design step by step. The necessary design principles are explained and applied to participants' organisations.
Module 4: Multidisciplinary social tasks and internal interaction
Using case histories, you gain insights into what task- and neighbourhood-oriented and participative working requires of your organisation.
Module 5: The people factor
You are a civil servant of the 21st century who operates in team and network contexts. You are addressed on the added value of using your personal leadership and talents. Together with the other participants, you will look at which HR policy is part of this.
Module 6: The technology factor
