Everyone can get something different out of this story, that's the beauty of it. For example, I think it can also help children who feel lonely: to know that inside there is something that can enrich you and that you are connected to

'De Zoon van de Gazelle' is a retelling for children of a famous ancient story. It is about a boy who grows up on a desert island. Not knowing how he got there, he sets out to investigate. While philosophizing, he comes to understand big questions of life, such as: what is the difference between humans and (other) animals? What can you learn from nature? How can you become a good human being? Religion scholar Kamel Essabane talked about the importance of philosophizing with children and the meaning of stories in multicultural society.
