What are economists working on and how does it contribute to society? The ESB's annual Economists’ Parade (in Dutch) highlighted researchers from the department of Economics and Business Economics who have been appointed (permanently) in 2023. No fewer than six of our researchers feature on the cover of the Economists' Parade: Eva Matthei, Florian Habermann, Ankush Asri, Imtiaz Sifat, Giacomo Solano and Koen van der Swaluw. With the Economist Parade, ESB editors aim to showcase the achievements of researchers in the economic field across a broad front. They publish the most notable scientific achievements, explore how new academics view their role in society and provide an overview of the ESB contributions that were the best read last year.
