On 26 May 2023 the team behind the Heritages of Hunger research project organised a public event at the Dutch Resistance Museum in Amsterdam. During the event Dr Anne-Lise Bobeldijk interviewed the director of the Dutch Resistance Museum, Liesbeth van der Horst. Afterwards the audience could also ask questions. Next, Charley Boerman and Marguérite Corporaal led a roundtable with educators, heritage specialists and heritage makers from all over the world. Attending were Bram Beelaert from the Red Star Line Museum, Ioanna Dekatri, from the Greek Ministry of Education, Adam Kerpel-Fronius, from the Stiftung Denkmal für die ermordeten Juden Europas and Jeremy Maron from the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
