Lucinda Dirven, Professor of Ancient Religions on behalf of the Jozef M.A. Janssen Stichting, has been awarded a three-month grant from the Getty Research Institute (GRI) Scholars Program. From September to December, she will participate in the research project 'The Classical World in Context: Experiencing Religion in Antiquity' at the Getty Villa in Santa Monica, LA, with her research project 'Where East Meets West: Experiencing Mithras in Dura-Europos'.
