Across two full days the attendees discussed high-skilled migration through empirical cases and comparative perspectives spanning Europe, East and Southeast Asia, Russia, Turkey, Cuba, Dubai, Singapore, Canada, and South Korea, as well as transnational and remote-work trajectories cutting across multiple world regions. The diversity of institutional affiliations and research sites reflected the truly global, and deeply uneven, geographies of high-skilled mobility today. The workshop was organized by Francesco Cerchiaro and Giacomo Solano (RUNOMI).
The workshop was supported by the Radboud University Network on Migrant Inclusion (RUNOMI), the Global–Local Divides and Connections (GLOCAL) Hotspot, and the Sector Plan Theme 5 “Social Inequality and Diversity”.
