The EU Pact aims to thoroughly reform migration and asylum policy. New procedures at the EU’s external borders, changes to the asylum procedure and increased cooperation with non-EU countries on asylum and return require the exchange of knowledge with national legal practitioners, the European legal community and beyond. Researchers at the Centre for Migration Law contribute to expanding knowledge by providing training to the judiciary and organising academic conferences.

Several researchers at the Centre for Migration Law are monitoring the implementation and enforcement of the package of regulations that will come into force on 12 June 2026.
