The Flora Lighthouse project inspires how AI-driven teaching innovations can support student learning. The project builds on the FloRa research project, in which researchers developed and validated an algorithm. This algorithm detects personal SRL (self-regulated learning) activities during essay writing by using the Detect, Diagnose, Act framework. Visualising their own processes can make students more aware of - and give insight into - their own learning. This helps them reflect on their own learning process and, if necessary, adjust their learning strategy.
